Clement Neo
Research Assistant
Clement Neo is currently a Research Assistant at Apart Research, contributing to technical AI safety research projects. He is concurrently pursuing an MSc in Technological Management and BSE in Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University, graduating in December 2024. Clement has a background in computer vision applications, including precision agriculture.
Clement's research interests is in the safety and interpretability of Large Language Models, and more recently, Multimodal Models.
Clement will work on understanding attention-MLP interactions in LLMs, with a specific focus on how attention heads process context to determine which MLP neuron to activate.
