Sprint prize terms & conditions

§1 Valid for all prize payments from Apart with the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Ashgro Inc.

§2 You must be able to accept a bank transfer from a US charity. If you are not able to do so, you may nominate your prize to an international registered charity of your choice, including Apart.

👋 What does this mean for me?

Currently, this is mostly an issue within countries with bank transfer embargos.

§3 If you do not respond or send your answer in any other format (e.g. a prize form) after two follow-ups and a maximum of one month after the first email, the prize money is donated back to Apart.

👋 What if I have special circumstances?

Writing an email with your special circumstances is a response and the prize can be handled later.

§4 If they are a foreign citizen from a country which does not have a tax treaty with the US we will be required to withhold 30% tax.  If you compete in the US as a non-US citizen, you agree that we will file a form with the IRS for you.

§5 Prize Distribution and Team Payments
5.1 All team prizes will be distributed equally among team members. Individual contribution levels cannot be factored into the distribution amounts.
5.2 This equal distribution policy is non-negotiable and cannot be modified by team agreements or requests.

§6 Payment Processing and Deadlines
6.1 Teams must complete and submit the required prize form one week after the forms have been sent.
6.2 Prize payment communications will be sent from Mercury, not Ashgro Inc. Recipients should monitor their email for correspondence from Mercury.

§7 Banking Requirements
7.1 For international payments, particularly for Indian bank accounts: Recipients must provide SWIFT code details for their bank account
7.2 It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure their banking details are compatible with international SWIFT transfers.
