Overview
Expert-Defined Agendas
Partner organizations provide research direction and specialized mentorship. You focus on execution with a clear project scope, rather than developing your own research idea from scratch.
Proven Infrastructure
We bring 2+ years of fellowship experience. Our pilot Partnered Fellowship with Martian secured $71,000+ in research support to the fellows, with two teams accepted to multiple NeurIPS 2025 workshops.
Global & Flexible
Fully remote, 3-6 months, 10-30 hours per week. Designed for domain experts, busy professionals, and students who want structured research experience without relocation.

Fellowship Process

The mentors will select the best participants for each project with support from the Apart Team.
Work on a scoped research project with direct mentorship. Receive compute resources, project management support, and regular feedback.
Aim for concrete research outputs at top venues. The Apart Team will give you Publication and Travel Support for you to present in-person.
