Designed for Flexibility
Fully remote, 10-30 hours per week, compatible with full-time work. No relocation needed, our fellows span from all over the world.

Fellowship Process
Join our monthly weekend hackathons (Sprints) to explore AI safety research and test your fit. Top Sprint projects are invited to develop their ideas into full research proposals in the Apart Studio.
If invited to the Studio, you will write a blogpost about your hackathon project. Upon approval, you will join the Studio, where the Apart Team provides guidance, compute, and more.
The best research proposals from the Studio get invited to execute their research with Research Project Manager support, compute resources, and publication guidance in the Apart Fellowship.
Aim for top venues and workshops (ICLR, NeurIPS, ACL). Successful fellows have published at these conferences and joined leading AI safety organizations. We cover travel expenses for presenting your work.
