The placebo cell is a great idea to keep and build on. Using harness-owned events as ground truth is also a promising alternative to activation injection. However, with only fifteen sessions per condition, most reported differences represent just one or two sessions. Because of this, confidence intervals, paired tests, and clear denominators are essential. Using human or cross-family judges, along with public prompts and logs, would make the observer comparison much more convincing. Finally, the experiment would stand better on its own with less emphasis on the consciousness framing.
